"It's been so lovely to see so many influential women getting together and having conversations about things that really impact their life!"
Sarah Jarvis - Healthcare Relationship Development Director - Barclays
The challenge
According to the World Economic Forum's Global Gender Gap Report 2024 even today, the gender gap across the world is widening. They project that at the current rate of progress, it will take 134 years to achieve full gender parity worldwide, extending the previous estimate of 131 years. This is measured against four criteria: educational attainment, healthcare and survival, economic participation and opportunity and political empowerment. To drill economic participation down into our own sector, according to the latest C+D Salary Survey in 2022, male, non-manager pharmacists, earned a clear £4k more than their female counterparts.

“It was such a good time and inspiring, so much so I’m considering taking the leap to expand!"
Wunmi Muji, Director and Superintendent Pharmacist, WC King Pharmacy.

"I'm excited to be part of creating a female led community in the Pharmacy space where women can inspire peers and share ideas and experiences.”
Clare Briggs, Sales Director, TradeBridge
